I did not get any photos.....but I did get lots of fun.

The Bill and Judy gang stayed true to their word and visted us Nurkiewicz's for a third straight February in a row. All though this year, they got a little more than what they bargained for. NO...not more Phil Collins crooning over some awesome speakers...we are talking the dreaded SNOW> something us Holmans were taught by our old man to avoid when taking a trip to Ohio or back to Indiana. You don't travel in the winter time. Period. But my brother and his faithful family defied that law and came out for some fun and frolic. Highlights include:
  • The Wii was turned on immediately upon arrival which drew the four kids to the basement. However, despite Bill's interpretation,  I was happy to see some dress ups and some movement of all the kitchen toys around the basement. I did not mind a bit pushing them back to the walls.
  • Oobatz  serves some awesome 22 ounce beers. Pizza was taken home for a snack for the next day which proved to be a good move by Judy.
  • Annie was the movie the kids watched as they munched on popcorn. Clean up for the popcorn was provided by our ever loyal Megan the dog.
  • Sledding hill was a fun time for all. Jeff's sore head from the night before felt good in the cool air. The snow was packed down which made all the kids shoot down like a bullet. Bil tumbled over Zach but that was to be expected. Zach did not trust Bill for the rest of the day it seemed. I was ready to go down the hill several more times had I not assisted in putting a hole in the cool tube Bill and Judy brought with them. Noodles and Company was a fun time. Everyone ate well it seemed. Zach shared his shrimp and pesto with Maddy.
  • All the kids made a ladybug craft thanks to Aunt Jude. Valentines were made by the girls as well.
  • Little more DS and Wii time before Bounce U at 5. Jeff napped.
  • Bounce U was a great time to see the tired kids find their 2nd wind and jump on all things bouncy. Zach had 45 minutes into it before he was escorted out by Mom and Dad to find a Immediate Care usually open on Sundays. Little concerned he could not put weight on his foot after just experiencing one of our friends little girl who broke her ankle. She was on it for 4 days before they realized she fractured it. Aired on the safe side but are you surprised by that? Roll your eyes gently on this paragraph.
  • Noble Romans is one of the last great Indiana walk down memory lane. You eat those sticks and it takes you back to the movies of Abbott and Costello. Kids liked the wings.
  • Watched Olympics with Bill and laughed at the shooting and skiing event. Nice.
  • Saw a huge cloud of snow coming our way and watched the weather with the gang as the next day's forecast came on. Watched the Olympics too. Still drank the wine even though I should of had more beer. That is on my list for next Feb. along with REG Pepsi. Sorry Jude.
  • Bill took in my trash can in for me as he loaded the car in the falling snow. I felt bad because I had to "work" or go work out which hopefully did not push them out too soon. Then came home to watch on the news that parts of the interstate was closed and many wrecks. Lots of prayer....happy to get the email they made it home in 9 hours! Yeah! Better you guys than us! :):):)
Great time. Lots of gut laughs. Zach was in the zone in the car ride to Bounce U and it was fun for me to look in my rearview mirror and see all those heads in my car.

Thank you guys over and over for trekking it out here. Judy had homework and that was up against them as well. You guys really made our month here. Hope the Oops wine softened the ride home.

See you Spring Break!
Knock Knock...who's there?....Yoshi...Yoshi who?...Yoshi on Mario Kart Weeeeeeeeeee......
