Here are the kids as we get ready for the day in their jerseys. Katie is complaining because her jersey is a generic one with no number on it. So it looks like we will be getting her a real one because she knows the difference. That is the fun of being 6 1/2 and too smart for her own good.
Zach is sticking his tongue out in a foreshadowing of how the day has been. After I dropped off Katie at the bus stop, a friendly neighbor left a bag of poop for me in my newspaper holder under my mailbox. Thus the day has a true reason to start!
Okay. I am off to decorate a float for the parade. More on all of that later...
